I thought that now I'm using ISO-8859-2 code page and for migration from ISO to UTF-8 I have to convert every string in my database. So, when only langfiles and meta section will be changed to UTF-8, whole content (issue subjects, descriptions and comments) witch cames from database will look like corrupted in browser. There is no problem for standard ASCII characters like "a b c d e" and others, but for regional characters like "=B1 =EA =E6 =F3 =B3 =F1 =B6 =BC =BF". The problem is not on MySQL side. Problem is that old content was "pasted" to database when page was using ISO code page. Sorry, for my English, but I think that now the problem with migration to UTF8 from ISO-8859-2, KOI8-R, ISO-2022-JP is clear. Regards, Arkadiusz Hutta |
