I like the idea about having a more flexible logging story. Long time ago I developed the EventLog plugin to provide similar functionality. The EventLog plugging plugged into the logging and captured such logs into the database with some GUI on top of it. I suggest that you compare this with yours and see if we can end up with one that has the best of both. If not, then it is always OK to have another one that provides a different feature set. https://github.com/mantisbt-plugins/EventLog I've created a project for csv_import plugin on the tracker and added you (lionheart33806?) as a manager. Once you create your logging plugin or combine it with the EventLog one, we can create a project for that as well.
