Thanks, that worked. I made the changes in XF86Config (according to the HOWTO), and restarted X, and it worked, except that the display was shifted to the right about 100 pixels (and the tablet events were shifted the same amount). That got fixed when I turned the tablet off and back on again. wacdump still doesn't work, but that's okay. One problem I have now is the cursor lags behind the stylus whenever I move it moderately fast... I'll read the docs to see if there's any way to improve that kind of behavior. Again, thanks, Ping! --Lee On Thu, 25 Sep 2003, Ping Cheng wrote: > Please turn off and then on the Cintiq to see if it helps or not. > > If you only care about using the tablet, it might be easier to add Wacom > Device section into your XF86Config file so X can launch the driver. > > Ping > > -----Original Message----- > From: Lee Markosian [mailto:sa...@ee...] > Sent: Thursday, September 25, 2003 9:57 AM > To: Ping Cheng > Cc: 'Linux-Wacom Discuss ' > Subject: RE: [Linuxwacom-discuss] problem with cintiq on redhat 9 > > > Thanks for the quick response, Ping. > > I did what you said but got the same result.
