[Linuxwacom-discuss] Error reading wacom device : Resource temporarily unavailable

I just got a Wacom Graphire2 4x5, and it seems to die in X after using it for 
a few seconds.

Initially, it works fine, then after about 20 seconds, I get this error in 
Xorg.0.log:
Error reading wacom device : Resource temporarily unavailable

At this point, the hardware seems fine as 'wacdump /dev/input/wacom' works fine. 
Uplugging the tablet and re-plugging it fixes everything, but it dies soon 
after again. I've included my Xorg.0.log.

Anyone seen this? Any fix? Or better diagnostic I can do?
