I have a laptop with an N-Trig touch screen. After a few lines of tweaking the digitizer works fairly well with 8.0-3 driver. Would support for this non-wacom device be welcome? vendor: 0x1b96 tablet id: 0x0001 With the 8.0-3 driver the stylus worked flawlessly. However to get the touch part working I had to move the event->code == BTN_TOOL_BRUSH to the cursor device and change the axis 2 and 3 to 0 and 1 respectively (the touch was showing up as wheel and a tilt action). Though a bit hackish, that solution seems to work. But for some reason the cursor gets sent to the lower right of the screen when I lift my finger. With the 8.1-1 driver once I put in the axis swap again, the pointer moves around just fine. But when I touch the pen to the screen the events get passed to the touch device. Also since the device does not have a wacom vendor id, the default capacity doesn't get set thus, the touch clicks are lost. Also once that's fixed the cursor still jumps to the lower right when I lift my finger. On a side note, though the tip button is captured as a touch, if the eraser button is held during the press, the event still goes to the eraser device. Eventually, I'd also like to get the multi-touch feature working. I'd be happy to help write the code, once I understand the driver a bit better. Rafi |
