Hello,

I am the one who prepares the packages on sourceforge.
The package which is offered on sourceforge for Linux only contains the
source files with a Makefile (and the sample test files), but no installer.

Probably you downloaded a package with installer from the distributor of
your Linux system or another package repository. I have no knowledge of
third party installers. You should contact the maker of the installer
package, who probably does not read this list.
