I was wondering why the "URL" field isn't clickable.
The Add/Edit dialog is intended for editing data in an entry rather than using the data. When editing an URL, it is a nuisance if one can accidentally trigger the link. If it is necessary to test an URL, copy and paste into the address field of a browser.
URLs are clickable in the KeePass Entry List View pane (main window). Open the URL by double clicking on it.
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
I hope someone can help. I am using KeePass v2.30.
I was wondering why the "URL" field isn't clickable.
If you put a URL in the 'Notes' field then it is clickable (which then opens a browser).
This would be a very useful feature.
Many thanks,
Lee

You should never need to edit a KeePass entry to use the data. Copy / paste, drag n drop or autotype do everything you should need.
