Hi,
My kbdx file is on my company's Onedrive cloud storage, just as the necessary key file is.
The kbdx file I can browse to and select for opening, but it's not possible to browse to the key file on Onedrive. Going to my profile on the local storage (where the Onedrive syncing folders resides too) I also don't see the corresponding folder for the business cloud (Onedrive - <companyname>). Only the personal cloud syncing folder (Onedrive) which is empty.
Only after putting the key file on local storage I could open the kbdx file.
Versions: Keypass 2.61.1, Windows11 25H2.
Regards, Walter.</companyname>

You could consider using one of the I/O plugins that support OneDrive, e.g. KeeAnywhere or KeePassOneDriveSync:
    https://keepass.info/plugins.html#keeanywhere
    https://keepass.info/plugins.html#kpodsync

Alternatively, you could try turning off the option for entering the master key on the secure desktop (if it is on). On the normal desktop, KeePass can show the standard file selection dialog, in which you might find your file.

    Best regards,
    Dominik

My kbdx file is on my company's Onedrive cloud storage, just as the necessary key file is.

If the above is the problem then simply copy the key file to your company's OneDrive. Otherwise please describe the problem more clearly. Not being able to see a file on OneDrive isn't a KeePass issue, even if the file is used by KeePass.

It probably makes more sense to keep the key file on the local drive rather than on a shared drive because that exposes a larger potential attack surface. A key file doesn't offer any protection if a malicious actor can access it.
