KP freezes after plugin upgrade

KP version 2.61, Plugin LockAssist, 3.9.1
I upgraded LockAssist from 3.9 to 3.9.1 by exchanging the plgx file. Keepass GUI freezes and the compiling info is not seen/shown. I need to kill KP via taskmanager. After restarting KP plugin is updated and KP runs fine again. Seems to be vaild for all plugin updates?
Did you update the PLGX files while KeePass was running?

no, I close kp, exchange plugin file start kp hoping to see the "compiling plugins" message
And the second time you started KeePass you got the compiling plugins message?
If so, you most likely had a second copy of KeePass running.

I have to kill kp via Taskmanager start up kp again, works then also with updated plugin. Had this serveral times. and no, not running more than one instance
I'm not seeing this, but I'm not using LockAssist.
It might be your machine.
