#2398 Unable to run KeePass 2.59 on Windows 11

When I try to start the program I get this error:
"A fatal error has occurred!
The type initializer for 'KeePass.App.AppDefs' threw an exception.
Attempted to read or write protected memory..."

Reinstalled KeePass 2.59: same error
Installed KeePass 2.58: same error

Currently using KeeWeb as a workaround so I can access my passwords.

Seems your Windows installation is unwell.
I would run a memory test as that is the error reported.
Next up would be to reinstall / fix .NET (support.microsoft.com).
Then re-install "over the top" for Windows.
