No

Don't know if this is considered a bug or not but I thought I would mention it.

If an Edit Entry dialog window is left open, the Workspace will not lock.

I have the same behavior. I would consider it as a bug because this prevents the workspace lock.

This is not a bug. See the documentation for the explanation https://keepass.info/help/base/faq_tech.html#noautolock.

Keep in mind that the Add/Edit dialogs are intended for Adding and Editing data only. It is unnecessary to open the dialogs to use credential data stored in entries. Editing entry data should be completed in a timely manner without interruption and the dialog should be closed as soon as the editing task is complete. If an interruption is unavoidable the dialog should be closed immediately.

I understand this behavior but in my opinion it is a bit dangerous. The user may well be interrupted while he is editing the entry and may forget to save or cancel it.
I would suggest another possibility when the inactivity occurs while editing an entry. You could open a dialog box asking the user to save the database and before saving (or not depending on his choice) ask the password. Of course you take the risk that another user saves the database with unwanted data but is it more dangerous than leaving the other user see all passwords registered in KeePass? Am I missing something ?

Opening a reminder dialog does not solve the original problem (KeePass doesn't lock when sub-dialogs are open) but it does add complications. It is better to have a simple rule and require the user to develop safe editing habits.

Give all of the above, the only minor improvement I could suggest would be to remember whether or not any edits had been made in the Add/Edit dialog box. If none were pending, it would be safe to close that dialog box to allow locking.

    Just some observations:

    • Sometimes locking is confusing.
    • Likely to increase the frequency of bug reports of an intended behavior.
    • Undermines the message that the Add/Edit dialog should be timely closed.
