I've just installed Keepass 2.41 and the integration with Firefox 64.0.2 (64 bit) no longer works. Integration will all other browsers will open the browser window correctly.
Neither the normal nor private integration to Firefox will open a Firefox window
I'm right clicking an entry in the right hand KeePass window, positioning the cursor over URL then selecting Open with Firefox (private) or Open with Firefox. Nothing happens when I left click.
For all other browser options (except Firefox) the browser window opens correctly.
The program command line that it is trying to open for Firefox appears to be -
I have a similar issue with both Firefox and Chrome URL links intermittently failing in Windows 7.
If I highlight an entry with a URL link and hit Ctrl-U, nothing happens. If I right click the same entry, Right Click and then click the URL entry it opens the web paage as expected.

I should add that this started with 2.41. Also, once I have used the right click-URL click method on an enty, then I can highlight the entry and Ctrl-U to open the web page successfully.

Hi Guys, my experience was that 2.41 just started working by the following day. I can't explain why, as no changes, updates etc were applied to the system. Since it started working I have experienced no further issues. I never experienced an issue with any other browser than Firefox (both private and standard mode).

From KeePass 2.40 to 2.41, the Firefox path detection and the Ctrl+U shortcut handling did not change at all. As you wrote that 2.40 worked, this indicates that the issue lies outside of KeePass (e.g. a security software blocking KeePass' request to run Firefox).
I've tested the context menu commands and Ctrl+U in KeePass 2.41 with Firefox 64.0.2 on 4 different operating systems (Windows 10 1809 x64, Windows 10 1803 x64, Windows 8.1 x86 and Windows 7 x86) and all worked fine. If you find a way to reliably reproduce the problem, please post it.
Thanks and best regards,
Dominik

Please describe exactly how you are attempting to open Firefox?

Paul, this action works fine in 2.40.
On my system I've confirmed the location of Firefox is C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox
Firefox is the system default browser
I've also realised that none of the reference links

open in Firefox either so this seems to indicate that the problem is with the initiation sequence for Firefox.
Copying to clipboard and pasting into Firefox works fine Ctrl+U but Ctrl+Shift+U does not work

If FF is your default browser then it should load all web based links.
Go to FF and check that it is registered for all web links.

Does double clicking the URL open the browser?

I'm having the exact problem. Hopefully I'll have the same experience as David R and it will mysteriously start working again.

A recent Windows OS update solved my problem. All good now.
