{URL} placeholder not working in help links
A lightweight and easy-to-use password manager

The help in http://keepass.info/help/base/autourl.html states that in the override field the URL placeholder can be used, e.g. cmd://{INTERNETEXPLORER} "{URL}"
This does not work in some links in the Help menu. Only {BASE} works. The help should be changed to reflect this.
So, everything works as expected. {BASE} is replaced by the string that is being overridden. {URL} is replaced by the content of an entry's URL field. Menu items are no entries, i.e. {URL} isn't useful here (and this by the way exactly was the reason why {BASE} was introduced).
Best regards,
Dominik
This ticket is simply about changing the doc (online help) to reflect the already correct behaviour.
Anyway, I like your suggestion of using {BASE} in the global override examples on http://keepass.info/help/base/autourl.html and have changed this now.
Note the Internet Explorer example demonstrates how to override the URL of one specific entry, thus here {URL} is more suitable than {BASE}.
Thanks and best regards,
Dominik
Thanks for clearing this up. My fault for not reading carefully enough.
