Here is my keepass entry -
Group: Shane, Title: SAP C42, User Name: sss, Password: *, URL: cmd://sapshcut -system=C42 -client=200 -user=mcandrs -pw=* -maxgui - cmd://sapshcut -system=C42 -client=200 -user={USERNAME} -pw={PASSWORD} -maxgui, Creation Time: 12-02-13 9:34:53, Last Modification Time: 30-04-14 13:33:00
I used keepass to generate a new password - YG\7"1\;
and then auto-type no longer worked. The work around is to manually choose a new password without backslashes and double quotes (although I am not sure which of them causes the problem).

I cannot reproduce this. Auto-Type does send the string YG\7"1\; perfectly fine on my machine.
Maybe the target window (SAP?) rejects these characters? Have you tried auto-typing into Notepad?
Best regards,
