#1118 Synchronising status dialog is dismissed too soon

When synchronising, the status dialog is dismissed before the operation completes. The UI remains unresponsive until the status bar says "Synchronization completed successfully.", but the status dialog is closed half way through.

(This is probably only noticeable when synching with a remote database, or with a large database file)
