There is an option "Match tags with language of the current buffer". It is on by default. I had to switch it off to make my tags displayed. Is it possible to document what's that for and how does it work?

My situation is a bit unusual because I run ctags with a different language options than those in the buffer. But it may also affect other users. Maybe those using custom modes,

Maybe the option should be off by default?

The option is now off by default. When trying to turn it on, the warning displays. I like it.
