Now the floating windows are not always on top, but, if I activate the plugin while it is covered up by my jEdit window, the dockable doesn't raise to the top. That's a bug.
Also, on KDE, the floating dockables do not have a proper window title, so I am unable to see their names in the task bar (as I could with the classic dockables).
Am I supposed to see system window borders around the floaters? I thought I was able to before but I can't see them now.

Can you update MyDoggyPlugin and check if these things are fixed? I could finally update to the latest version of MyDoggy thanks to a solution that Angelo (the developer) gave me to the class loading stuff. The latest version contains lots of bug fixes.

The floating dockable borders are still a little thin. Another couple of pixels would be nice.
I can see the dockable name in the taskbar in KDE now.
