[ jEdit-users ] Console/Error List

Hi.

I have been using Console to run a java compile command (1.3) & Error
List to jump to the errors. It has saved me hours of read/find
file/scroll/check error cycles. This works 9/10, but sometimes it just
can't find the apropreate directory to load up files from. It ends up
searching under the jars directory, and then creating a new file.
Usualy, it works fine. I can't work out the situation under which it
searches under jars and when it searches in a sensible place. Sorry.

Also, is there an easy way to get the Error List to handle 1.3 compile
errors more gracefuly? It gets the line right, but misses important info
about the error (I just get the headlines), and doesn't find the offset
within the line. In 1.3, the messages are spread over several lines. I
seem to remember that in 1.2 and earlier, most of the important info was
on one line.
