[ jEdit-devel ] Sym links in ftp vfilesystem

I have noticed that when I connect to my linux box using the ftp 
vfilesystem, that the file name for the symlinks include a -> and the 
path to the actual file that the symlink represents.  I don't know if it 
does this for every ftp server with symlinks, but I think this could be 
used to allow the ftp vfilesystem to follow symlinks....
