[ jEdit-users ] jEdit is two years old

Hello everybody,

I've just realized that jEdit is now a little over two years old.
I started developing jEdit probably at the beginning of October,
1998. It was my first 'serious' Java app.

The oldest usable jEdit version I have is 1.0.1; it was released
7th November 1998.

So that you guys can have a cheap laugh, I've pulled it out of
the closet, dusted it off, and updated it to work with Java 2.

Note that it doesn't use the %user.home%/.jedit directory for
settings (instead, it creates a single %user.home%/.jedit-props
file).
