I have recently written a plugin which allows one to open files in jEdit by dragging them from the file system and dropping them onto the jEdit application's text-entry area. (This plugin takes advantage of the new support for drag-and-drop operations in jdk1.2; as a result, it can only be used by individuals running jEdit with jdk1.2+.) I have made a zip file available for download at http://www.geocities.com/greghmerrill. (Hope you like the Spartan aesthetic of this page...) The DragAndDrop-0.1.zip file stored at that location contains source/jar/docs. I would like to invite all interested developers to try it out & look over the source code. (I want to make sure that my code uses the plugin framework as it was intended.) Once again, please note that this plugin requires jEdit2.2+, running on top of jdk1.2+. Looking forward to your feedback, -Greg Merrill __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Talk to your friends online with Yahoo! Messenger. http://im.yahoo.com |
