I think that's a bit much. I think somebody was working on a Java diff...but until it becomes available you can probably live with using your system diff to see what is different. The option to load it would be nice. I usually totally disregard my autosaves because I don't want the hassle of temporarily renaming/opening other files up. If the option were there I might actually use it.
