Hi Kevin Do I understand right that you work at the office and close jEdit without closing the files located on the samba drive? If so, you might want to close the respective files before closing jEdit at the office or you might want to un-tick the general option "Restore previously open files on startup". Also if I stop for 5 minutes and more and than come back to use JEdit, it is the same - takes 2-3 minutes to load a file. Is there anyway to avoid JEdit from trying to access files when working with it from home ? or to make these issues resolved so work can be effective ?
