[ jEdit-users ] JEditEmbeddedTextArea - keyboard bindings

Hi,
why backspace and arrows, and other shortcuts don't work by default in a
JEditEmbeddedTextArea?
How to enable these features?
I see this question was raised earlier:

But there is no answer.
My environment is Win7, jEdit 5.2pre1, Java 1.7.0_71.
