[ jEdit-users ] How can I stop jEdit from starting its server?

How can I stop jEdit from starting its server? I like the server in 
linux ... but I have a jEdit in an xp virtualbox as well, where I rarely 
use it, and I'd just as soon not have it start in server mode.
