[ jEdit-users ] Set and move "mark" for selections?

Hello,

I am familiarising myself with jEdit's keyboard shortcuts, and I am
wondering if there is a way for me to set a "mark" at where the cursor
is in a text file, and as I move the caret, everything between that
mark and where the cursor is now will be selected? This is in
reference to how I made selections in emacs.

I looked at the documentation and did not finding anything like this
in the Selection part of it....
