Hello, I just installed jedit on my Windows 2002 XP sp3 box. I seem to be having issues with html code that must be encoded with utf-8 character set. I have set the Utilities, Global Options, Encodings to default to UTF-8. I open my file containing the html code (it has the correct headers pointing to UTF-8) that came from vendor and after some editing to the body of the code, I save it to a directory on my C drive. The file is then ftp'd in binary mode to mainframe where the vendor software is restarted in order to load the html. The vendor software issues message indicating that the html is not in UTF-8 format. What am I missing or doing wrong? Any help is appreciated. Thank you. |
