Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Alan Ezust (ezust) Assigned to: Dale Anson (daleanson) Summary: Sidekick misbehaving with multiple views Initial Comment: If I have level.cpp open in view1 using ctagssidekick, and I have todo.txt open in view2, every time I type anything in view2, I get an error: 4:37:53 PM [AWT-EventQueue-0] [error] SideKick$BufferChangeListener: We have level.cpp ($ics/casualgame/Kolobok/) but got event for todo.txt ($forum/Slides/) Using SideKick SVN rev# 19594, jEdit 4.4pre2 (svn) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Dale Anson (daleanson) Date: 2011-06-18 00:09 Message: Did you happen to have todo.txt open in view1 at some point, perhaps when you first started jEdit? If so, a buffer listener was added to the buffer, and since buffers don't know about their parent views and SideKick does, if you get that buffer open in a different view, the message will appear. The message seems useless to me, so I removed it, and that's the total of the fix for this. It's not an error, it's just the way it is. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=565475&aid=3320257&group_id=588 |
