@Alan The installer should add the jEdit program directory to the PATH variable, so you should be able to use "jedit" from the commandline and you can give it any parameter jEdit supports, it will pass it on to the javaw process. @John jEdit is under GPL, you can modify it however you like to suit your needs. And if you made it in a clean way that doesn't break anything else, you could also submit it as patch to the jEdit patches tracker if you want.
