It works; better than I was aware when I wrote my posting. But it has a significant disadvantage for me: If I want to add a file, which is not in the Project Dir, I have to dig through the directory trees and find the file I want to add. Even if it is an open buffer in front of me, I can't simply add it (which I  want to do quite often).

In previous versions I copied the full path of the buffer to clipboard (with a shortcut) and simply pasted it to "Add Files from VFS". (Something like "add current buffer to node" would have been fine, too.)
