Category: editor core Group: Regressive (new to devel) Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: daniel hahler (blueyed) Assigned to: Dale Anson (daleanson) Summary: r19144 break restoring of files on windows (escape) Initial Comment: There appears to be an issue with the change introduced in r19144: "In conjunction with the fix for tracker 3134215, added a new option to the General options pane to let the user choose whether to restore the split configuration. PerspectiveManager now edits the split configuration string based on this new option and the existing options to restore local and remote files." When starting jEdit, the recently opened files are empty, and have an odd filename of "pathtofile", where it should be "c:\path\to\file". This is likely to be related to handling string escapes, which is necessary on Windows for the backslashes. It might be reproducible on UNIX systems by using "\" in a path/file name. Opening files in general works. Also plugins like "Buffer List" or "Switch Buffer" still show all files that are supposed to be open. Assigning the committer to this bug. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=100588&aid=3154194&group_id=588 |
