'Cause in mine 6 out 8 programs on your list don't have "Replace and Find" and have separate dialogs for replace and search. (Well, mac has separate tabs on the same dialog.) The only program that combines "find" and "replace" into one dialog and has "replace and find" button is jedit (thus violating the principle of least surprise). > So, what's weird?
