Uw, I know that. ... Let me rephrase the question.

Could you run jedit4.3install.jar (or jedit4.3.1install.jar) on the same
environment where you get the exception with jedit4.4pre1install.jar?
(both on IBM JVM 2.3?)

I think this can hardly be true. Then I want to verify it at first.
