[ jEdit-users ] Can't select columns

I still have this problem where I can't select columns.  Holding the command key and pressing the left mouse button used to draw a vertical line and select a column of text as I moved to the right.  But this no longer works for me.  Can anyone give me some clues on how to debug this?
