Yeah, I finally solve the encoding problems with replacing class Reader instead of Inputstream and Writer instead of OutputStream in org.gjt.sp.jedit.PropertyManager.java .Actually I overload the methods in class PropertyManager. And I use InputStreamReader to fit with my method in jEdit.java; So I don't know whether it will attribute any problems or not ? But it works fine and the Chinese characters display fine! But Shlomy I don't quite understand that simply put it in the 'properties' directory of the installation .
