Well, for starters you could use it just for some additional value it has over jEdit's built-in docking framework: - Have multiple dockables share the same docking area (e.g. side by side). You can do this using multiple selection of the dockable buttons (Shift+Left-click). - See a "preview" of an invisible dockable by hovering the mouse cursor on its button - Have smaller dockable buttons that take less screen space (I think) You do not have to use all the features.
