Sorry, I think I was confused, I didn't have the buffer/global settings
right.

After installing your new ConfigurableFoldHandler.jar file, I went back
and forth on settings for awhile, with no triangles showing up in the
gutter no matter what I did with the settings. Finally I toggled the
"Use default fold strings for mode" check box in the "Buffer fold
strings" dlg a couple times, and the triangles suddenly showed up. Not
sure why I had to do that, but it now seems to be working, and very
fast! Thanks!
