[ jEdit-users ] Getting soft tab to work consistently

Hi,
I'm using jEdit on a rails project. The tab and indent width are set
to 2 spaces and soft tab is enabled. Tabbing with rb files works OK
but with html.erb files the tab indents 8 spaces. I can't see how to
change this.

I don't know whether this is relevant but I have these plugins installed
