Category: text area and syntax packages Group: normal bug Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Spohr (spohr) Assigned to: daniel hahler (blueyed) >Summary: php syntax highlighting error (jEdit 4.3pre11 - pre14) Initial Comment: Hello, try this: <?php /** * CLASS Test_Class * * * <code> * Test_Class::generate($foo); * </code> * */ class Test_Class { /** * * @param int $foo */ function generate() {} ... } ?> everything between <code> and </code> and "int $foo" will not be hightlighted as comment. Greetings ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Spohr (spohr) Date: 2007-09-29 12:08 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1899928 Originator: YES I liked how it was colored in 4.2final. I would prefer the highlight as comment. But it would be also OK for me if "^\s\*" at the beginnig is colored as a comment. Thank you Greetings ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: daniel hahler (blueyed) Date: 2007-09-29 00:34 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=663176 Originator: NO Having everything colored as a comment seems to be more "simple and clean". If it should still get colored as PHP code, at least the "^\s\*" at the beginning should get colored as a comment (and not operator). Would that be OK, spohr? Or do you prefer the highlight as comment? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Spohr (spohr) Date: 2007-09-28 12:18 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1899928 Originator: YES File Added: jEdit_42final.jpg ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Spohr (spohr) Date: 2007-09-28 12:18 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1899928 Originator: YES Hello, Yes that is what I see. But, I can understand that this may be confusing. Other opinions? I'll attach a screenshot of how it looks in SVN trunk. Please confirm that it looks like what you're seeing.
