I also think it is much better to associate .h files with c++. After all, objective-c is a lot less popular than c/c++ (see http://www.tiobe.com/index.php/content/paperinfo/tpci/index.html). This is one of the first weirdnesses I encountered in jEdit, took me a while to understand why .h files didn't work as I expected, and a little bit more to find out how to fix it locally.
