Category: documentation Group: minor bug Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Mike Morrison (mikemorr) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Add note about yellow diamond Initial Comment: On http://jedit.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/jedit/jEdit/trunk/doc/users-guide/basics.xml?view=markup it says "a red disk is shown for buffers with unsaved changes", but with the new Tango icons (turned on by default in my installation of jEdit 4.3pre14) it is a yellow diamond rather than a red disk: http://mijav.dk/?q=node/18 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Seph M. Soliman (scarlac) Date: 2008-05-10 22:52 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=831311 Originator: NO This was fixed in SVN as well. The new icons are small tinted files/squares. Yellow means new. Red means dirty. Screenshot: http://jedit-buffer-status.png I belive this is what you were seeking? Regards, Seph ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Mike Morrison (mikemorr) Date: 2008-05-10 22:40 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=2080431 Originator: YES I'm using Windows XP, and the Swing look & feel is set to Metal. If I select the "classic" Icon Theme in Utilities > Global Options > Appearance, the "unsaved changes" icon looks like a red (square) Zip disk, but if I select the "tango" Icon Theme it looks like a yellow diamond. The icons I'm seeing can be seen at http://mijav.dk/?q=node/18 where it says "Buffertabs: Modified buffer icon". ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Marcelo Vanzin (vanza) Date: 2008-05-10 22:33 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=75113 Originator: NO I see the diamond with 2 different versions of Ubuntu, Metal L&F. I actually would prefer that it went back to the red disc... the yellow doesn't really stand out much. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Alan Ezust (ezust) Date: 2008-05-10 22:06 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=935841 Originator: NO I see a red square, not a yellow diamond. What OS/Look and Feel are you using? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=100588&aid=1960685&group_id=588 |
