Hi Victor, there's a new package of jEdit now available, which I'll upload to Ubuntu tomorrow. You can already download and install it from my PPA (Personal Package Archive) at https://edge.launchpad.net/~blueyed/+archive?field.name_filter=jedit&field.status_filter=published It would be great, if you could provide feedback for it. It includes basically the most important bugfixes from jEdit's SVN (on top of pre13). The package should also work for Ubuntu Gutsy, although it's planned to get uploaded for Hardy only.
