Initial Comment:
When screen is split in three text areas, first vertically, then horizontally, the lower right text area is selected, clicking on text browser line the selected location is found in current text area, but then the other text area gets the focus, usually it is the one that had focus before.

Attached patch fixed focus problem for me, but the problem might really be in the core and not in the plugin, since the changed code seems to be there from long ago.

jEdit 4.3pre9, CodeBrowser 1.4.4 (svn trunk), sun java 1.5.0_10 on debian linux
