Initial Comment:
When you start jedit and right click for the first time 
in the File System Browser, it takes around 5-10
seconds on my machine to display the context menu!
Afterwards, it appears immediately. It could be that it
is doing some loading (there's also plugins submenu),
but couldn't this be cached or preloaded? Can anyone
confirm this behaviour?

Using jedit 4.3pre5, jre 1.6

I confirm. In general speed is drastic in pre5.

Win XP SP2. jre 1.5.0_04
