Manoj,
   The documentation in the help files for Sidekick is really pretty
good. I suggest you look there first. After that, I suggest
downloading one of the other plugins that integrates with Sidekick and
just see how they do it (Eg. The Javascript Parser, or PHP parser).

As for creating your own fold, I think you look at the LazyFolds plugin.
