I know that sometimes I've had troubles starting up the latest ProjectViewer if I have old relics in my .jedit/projectviewer directory. Sometimes PV starts up clean and converts things, but sometimes it has difficulty dealing with old data. When this happens, I will just rename my .jedit/projectviewer directory to something else and start clean. I've only had to do this a couple of times, over the past year or two. And naturally, I can almost never reproduce it.
