Here are the steps to reproduce this problem: a) open the "Search and Replace (SAR) dialogue b) put the SAR dialogue a monitor where the Jedit main application is not on. c) close Jedit d) open Jedit e) open the SAR dialogue At this point, the SAR dialogue is really small (about the width of a standard button (like the "Find" button for example in the SAR dialogue). In other words, most of the SAR dialogue is cut off. Other things that happen here which may help is it looks like you can see the "Filter:" text underneath the "Synchronize" button text. Same thing happens with the hyper search plugin dialogue. If you want a screen shot of what it looks like, you can email me at de...@ho.... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nick C (zcrar70) Date: 2005-03-10 20:37 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=747018 I'm actually having a similar problem on Windows using a dual screen setup- my problem is that the "find" windows has actually completely disappeared! I think this is related to issue #1045239 (http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1045239&group_id=588&atid=100588) It seems like there is some kind of problem on dual-display monitors... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: scragz (scragz) Date: 2004-12-05 06:09 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=775029 I have had a similar problem where the S&R dialogue kept getting larger and larger everytime it was opened. It would only do a few pixels at a time, but over the day it would end up being needed to be resized multiple times. I ended up having to make KDE force it to always be a certain height. Related? I don't know. I do have a dual monitor display and I don't have this shrinking problem. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=100588&aid=1051091&group_id=588 |
