Seconded.  I now keep a Windows Explorer window open to navigate around
and pick what file to open, as moving around in the JEdit file browser
is painfully slow.  Win2000, 4.1pre6.

The painful slowness is somewhat intermittent-- sometimes it's better,
although never as fast as 4.1final.  I'll try the macro Slava posted on
Monday if there's no resolution by then.
