4.2pre6 been trying to do some more debugging about this, and think I may have found a way to replicate the issue... (since it now appears on both my home and work machines) open a new buffer, don't press any letters, try typing with the keypad. Ok, that doesn't seem to work anymore. I disabled some plugins to see if that would help (thought I was removing them, since when I unchecked, they disappeared from the list), and quit jEdit. When I reopened it, the problem was gone, but the plugins were back... And now as I'm typing this email, the problem comes back. It seems that when I'm not able to type with the keypad, if I type a letter, or a number from the standard portion of the keyboard, it re-enables the keypad. Has anyone else experienced this issue with pre6? I'm going to remove some plugins to see if that does any good. -Chris PS. the checkmarks in the plugin manager are black. When I select a black background for text fields, it makes them very hard to see (impossible unless I move the selection to them). |
