Hi Pete,

it looks like some easy error in the executing script. (I hope it is a
script, at this moment I am tied to a win-machine)

Open it  and place the option -jar beteween /someplace/java and
/someotherplace/jedit.jar

after your changes it should look like
/someplace/java -jar /someotherplace/jedit.jar (and some more parameters
here)
